Help and support
Updated 24 September 2026
PiccoLumi does not give medical advice, and it is not a medical device or a monitor. Do not rely on it in an emergency. If you think your child needs urgent help, call your local emergency number, such as 911 in the United States or 112 in Europe, or go to a doctor.
Contact us
PiccoLumi is made by a team of parents. Write to us at support@piccolumi.com about anything: help with the app, a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, or any other question. We answer within a day.
The company behind PiccoLumi is "PICCOLUMI".
Subscriptions: cancelling and refunds
You pay for Light and Family through Apple, with your Apple Account. We never see or store your card details.
- Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. To cancel, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then PiccoLumi, then Cancel Subscription. Or, in PiccoLumi, open Profile, then Manage subscription.
- Renewal: a subscription renews on its own unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Refunds: Apple handles all payments, so only Apple can give a refund. Ask for one at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
Deleting your account
- In the app: open Profile, then Delete account. Type DELETE and tap Delete account. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm.
- What is deleted: your sign-in, your files, and the records only you could see. If you are the only adult in the family, that is all of your Picco's records.
- What stays: if other adults are in the family, your Picco's records stay for them. So do the Lumi chats you started. To remove them, delete them first in Lumi Chat, then History.
- If you own the family: first make another adult the owner. The delete screen shows you how.
- If it stops partway: try again, and it continues where it stopped.
- If you cannot use the app: write to support@piccolumi.com from the email address of your account, and we will delete it for you after we check it is you.
Sharing with family and caregivers
A family can have up to six adults, including the owner. Sharing needs the Family plan.
- Inviting someone: the family owner creates an invite link in the app (Profile, then Caregivers and roles, then Invite caregiver) and sends it with any messaging app. Anyone with the link can use it to join, so send it only to the person you are inviting. The owner can remove anyone at any time.
- Owner: invites caregivers, decides what each one can see, and manages the family settings.
- Full caregiver: logs care and sees medical entries and tasks. Lumi Chat also needs the owner's approval and the caregiver's own permission.
- Limited caregiver: logs basic care and sees today's tasks. Cannot see medical entries, the Medical Vault or allergy notes, and cannot use Lumi Chat. Can see the LumiCast sleep forecast after giving their own permission.
Lumi and your privacy
Lumi is the helper inside PiccoLumi. Nothing is sent to her until you agree to it on the Lumi permission screen.
- Lumi Chat: when you ask Lumi something, the app sends your question, and what Lumi needs from the parts of the app you can open, to the services we work with. They write the answer. Medical Vault files are never sent. If you attach a photo or dictate a message, it is sent with that one question. We do not keep the photo or the recording.
- Sleep forecast: LumiCast is worked out on your phone by PiccoLumi's own code. No outside company is involved. When you open it, the app tells our server which forecast it showed (your Picco's age in months, the window, and your home time zone), so we can check later how accurate it was. That record has no name, notes or Medical Vault content, and it is deleted after 90 days.
- Lumi's notes: Lumi saves short notes and summaries so she can remember your family. You can see them in Lumi Chat, then History, under "What Lumi remembers". The family owner can clear them there at any time.
- Lumi chats: chats are saved in your family's account, so the other adults who can use Lumi Chat can read and continue them. We keep the newest 40 chats for each child. The person who started a chat, or the owner, can delete it for the whole family.
- Turning Lumi off: open Profile, then Privacy policy, and tap Turn off Lumi and delete her notes. Nothing new is sent after that, and her notes are deleted if you have permission to delete them. Your family's Lumi chats are not deleted.
