PiccoLumi

Terms of Service

Effective 28 September 2026
Version: piccolumi-terms-2026-09-28

Who provides this service. These terms are an agreement between you and the company "PICCOLUMI". In these terms, "PiccoLumi", "we", "us" and "our" mean "PICCOLUMI". Questions: support@piccolumi.com. We answer within a day.

1. Your account

You must be legally able to agree to these terms, and allowed to enter the child and family information you add. PiccoLumi is for parents and caregivers. Children do not create or use accounts. Keep your sign-in and your invite links safe.

2. Sharing with your family

The family owner sends the invites and sets each person's access. Invited caregivers can see or change family information within the access they were given. You are responsible for who you invite, what access you give, and removing access when it is no longer right. Anyone with an invite link or code can use it to join, so do not post it anywhere public.

3. Health and emergencies

PiccoLumi helps you organize and track your child's care, and gives general information. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, respond to emergencies or replace professional care. Forecasts, confidence labels, activities, milestones, Lumi's answers and alerts can be incomplete, late or wrong. Do not base a health, safety, sleep, medicine or childcare decision on PiccoLumi alone. Contact a doctor or your local emergency number when you need to.

4. What you add to PiccoLumi

You are responsible for the information and files you add. You give us, and the companies that work for us, only the rights we need to store it, keep it safe, sync it, convert it, back it up and show it to the family members you allowed. Do not upload anything illegal, information you are not allowed to share, malware, or anything that breaks someone else's rights. Check important Tracker and Medical Vault information against the original source.

5. Lumi's answers

Lumi's answers are written outside the app by a service we work with under contract, and only after you have given permission and our server has switched Lumi on for you. Answers can be out of date or wrong. The sleep times on the forecast, and how sure they are, come from PiccoLumi's own code. No answer replaces a professional's advice. You can turn Lumi off in Profile, then Privacy policy.

6. Subscriptions

Light and Family features need a subscription that our server has confirmed. Prices, billing periods, free trials, taxes, renewal, cancellation, refunds and payment are shown and handled by Apple, under the Apple Account you pay with. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them through Apple. Deleting PiccoLumi or your account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Restore purchases works with the Apple Account that made the purchase, while you are signed in to the PiccoLumi account it was bought for, or to a new PiccoLumi account if that one was deleted.

7. What you must not do

Do not open another family's information without permission; bypass the limits of your plan or the invite and access controls; use automated tools to copy data from the service, or try to reverse-engineer it; try to see other people's accounts; overload the service; upload harmful code; or use PiccoLumi to break the law or someone else's rights. We may limit access to protect families or the service, or to meet the law.

8. When features are unavailable or change

A feature can be unavailable because of your connection, maintenance, iPhone limits, a safety check, the feature not being ready yet, or services outside our control. Tracker changes made offline wait until you are back online. Some other changes need a connection at the time you make them. We may change or remove features, but a material change to these terms gets a new version and a new date on this page. We do not promise that a feature in testing, or one that is switched off, will launch.

9. Ending and deleting

You can stop using PiccoLumi at any time, cancel subscriptions through Apple, and delete your account in the app (Profile, then Delete account). We may suspend or end your access for serious misuse, for legal reasons, or because of a security risk. The parts of these terms that should continue after that, such as payments owed, responsibility for what you added, disclaimers and the dispute terms, continue as the law allows.

10. Our promises, limits on our liability, and the law

What we promise. PiccoLumi is provided as it is and as available. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we do not promise that it is free of errors, always available, or right for a particular purpose. Forecasts, summaries and Lumi's answers are estimates made by software. They can be wrong. They are not medical advice, and you decide what to do for your child.

Limits on our liability. To the extent the law allows, "PICCOLUMI" is not liable for indirect losses, for data you did not keep a copy of, or for losses caused by services outside our control, such as the App Store, sign-in providers, the service that writes Lumi's answers, or your network. Where our liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims in any twelve months is limited to what you paid us for PiccoLumi in those twelve months. If you paid us nothing in those twelve months, it is limited to 50 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us limit.

The law. If you live in a country whose consumer protection law gives you rights that cannot be waived, you keep those rights, including the right to bring a claim in the courts of your country. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Privacy and contact

The App Privacy Notice explains how we handle your information. The separate Waitlist Privacy Notice only covers the waitlist on our website. Write to support@piccolumi.com with any question about the service or your data.
